The manufacturer recommends 2 tablets twice daily. I have been using it for 2 months and got excellent results. I have a thyroid condition (hypo), and taking magnesium has reduced my blood pressure by about 10 to 12 points on average. There has been no downside thus far, and I tolerate it well. I reordered 2 larger bottles for better value. Great product at a really good price!
